Russian Sanctions
As schemes might be aware, there are potential implications for trustees resulting from the EU sanctions on Russia. Effectively, trustees cannot act where the beneficiaries or participating employers are based in Russia without a derogation. Tomorrow, July 5th, is the last day on which trustees may apply for a derogation to the Central Bank of Ireland at sanctions@centralbank.ie. Any schemes that might be impacted should contact their advisers for further details.
