Updated Pension Benefit Statement Projection Assumptions
The Pensions Authority published updated guidance for determining assumptions used in pension benefit statements which maintains consistency with the recently revised guidance from the Society of Actuaries in Ireland in relation to pension projections. Further details here.
EIOPA IORP II Consultation
The European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) recently launched a public consultation on its draft technical advice to the European Commission on the upcoming review of the IORP II Directive. Please see here. Responses are due to EIOPA by 25 May 2023.
