Budget 2025 Submission

The passing of the Automatic Enrolment Legislation and its subsequent signing into law by the President was an important step towards the introduction of Auto-enrolment. However, with so many actions still outstanding it is difficult to see how this can be introduced by early 2025 as it currently being suggested. In our Pre-Budget Submission, we suggest that it should be confirmed that Auto-enrolment will not commence in 2025, unless a commencement date can be confirmed with absolute certainty. This will allow employers and employees to budget properly for its commencement and for the necessary systems to be put in place and tested.

You can read our full submission on our website here

We also ask for clarity in the Budget as to the changes (if any) that will be made to the Standard Fund Threshold following the recent review of its operation to which we contributed.
