Introduction

Tomorrow’s World

The IAPF Investment Conference offers a first class panel of speakers that will educate and inform Trustees, Employers, HR and Finance Managers Investment Managers and Consultants alike.

“Tomorrow’s World” will focus on the evolution of the investment world in these uncertain times and will look at Alternative Investment Strategies. As well as an overview, large funds such as ESB, Smurfit and Kerry Group will outline their alternative investment experiences.

This year we are privileged to include both Noreen Harrington from MD Sass who is more publicly recognised as the whistle-blower in the mutual fund scandals in the US and Angela Docherty a senior Investment Strategist with Unilever.

New frontiers in investment management such as East Asian property, 130/30 strategies and Climate Change strategies will also be discussed. The Conference will also address the role of the Consultant with Steve Delo, President of the PMI outlining what a Consultant should do for your scheme.

IAPF would like to acknowledge and thank the Society of Investment Analysts for sourcing and facilitating our final speaker of the morning, Noreen Harrington from MD Sass, U.S.
