This year’s Benefits Conference will look at recent developments in pension provision in Ireland and DB schemes in particular. It will examine issues relating to the Pensions Board deadline for funding proposals, the Waterford Crystal judgement and will look at what these developments mean for the future. We will hear analysis from the Pensions Board of the proposals they have received and a case study from a scheme on their approach. Coming 2 weeks ahead of the Budget it will consider what might be in this and we will also hear from the Minister for Social Protection, Joan Burton.
This seminar has been accredited 3.5 CPD hours by the LIA (LIA-O-1861, IOB No: 2013-1730) and 4 CPD hours by the IIPM. If you have a query relating to CPD hours please contact the relevant awarding body.
Please note: Conference times, speakers and topics are subject to change.
