To mark Pride month, Tracie Ahern (Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer), joined Loïc Rentiers (Managing Director, Private Funds Group), Hari Chitnavis, (Associate, Private Funds Group) and Karina Graf (Senior Vice President, Client Services) to showcase PineBridge’s LGBTQ+ Allies Network. The group discussed their experiences and how they are working to enhance a culture of visibility and inclusivity across the spectrum of LGBTQ+ identities in the workplace.

Tracie Ahern Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer New York Ms. Ahern is Chief Financial Officer for PineBridge Investments responsible for planning, auditing, accounting for, controlling and reporting on the firm’s finances. Ms. Ahern is also responsible for overseeing the firm’s risk governance structure including setting risk parameters to meet internal and regulatory risk reporting guidelines for PineBridge’s global locations. She has over 30 years in the investment management industry, including 10 years of CFO experience with alternative and long only funds. Most recently Ms. Ahern served as an Independent Trustee for the Advisor Inner Circle Trust, a $60 Billion 1940 Investment Trust, as well as an independent director on various alternative funds. Ms. Ahern served as the CFO for Soros Fund Management from 2007-2015, where she managed the Treasury, Operations, Fund Administration and Management Company finances, chaired the Valuation Committee and was a member of the Management, Capital Allocation and Risk, Brokerage and Retirement Committees. Prior to that role, she was Vice President of Capital Markets Accounting for Freddie Mac, and also held senior positions at Lord, Abbett & Co., Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Ms. Ahern is a CPA and received an MBA in Finance and International Business from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a BS in Accounting from Manhattan College.
Loïc Rentiers Managing Director Private Funds Group London Mr. Rentiers joined the firm in 2006 and is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing private fund investments on a global basis. Prior to joining PineBridge Investments, Mr. Rentiers worked as an investment manager at Allianz Private Equity Partners. Mr. Rentiers started his career at Dresdner Kleinwort Capital as part of the private placement and fund-of-funds teams. Mr. Rentiers received a master’s degree in business and management, with a minor in finance from ICHEC Brussels Business School. In addition to English, Mr. Rentiers speaks French, Spanish and Dutch.
Hari Chitnavis Analyst, Private Funds Group PineBridge Investments, London Mr. Chitnavis joined the firm in 2018 and is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing private fund investments on a global basis. Prior to joining the team, Mr. Chitnavis was the lead RFP proposal writer for PineBridge’s Private Funds Group, Multi-Asset, and Emerging Markets Debt strategies. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and has passed Level 1 of the CFA program.
Karina Graf Senior Vice President Client Services Ms. Graf joined the firm in 2018 and is responsible for Client Relations for German investors. Additionally, she is the MLRO for PineBridge Investments Deutschland GmbH. Prior to joining PineBridge Investments, she held a similar role at Macquarie Asset Management in Munich, where she worked with German, Swiss and Italian investors. Ms. Graf holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich.
