Pensions Authority Notification to Trustees

The Pensions Authority has asked any schemes that invest directly in debt instruments (excluding investments through collective investment undertakings, certain classes of insurance policies or government bonds) to notify the Authority by 31st March. Click here for further details.


Taxation of Benefits payable by the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection (DEASP) Revenue have issued a Notice regarding benefits available to employees and how these should be processed through payroll. Read the full piece here

Code of Practice for Working Longer - WRC

The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) has prepared a Code of Practice to set out best practice for employers on how to engage with employees in the run up to retirement age. Topics covered include retirement arrangements how employers can deal with requests to work longer and how to maximise the skills that older employees bring to an organisation.
