With Consultation Papers issued on Simplification and Master Trusts and Auto-enrolment on the horizon, it is clear that DC pension provision in Ireland will change significantly in the coming years. At this seminar the IAPF will publish results from our survey on DC schemes in Ireland today. This will give a picture of contribution levels to occupational DC schemes, governance structures, investment strategies and charges experienced by members and those picked up by employers. This will provide the context for consideration of the various consultation papers and what they indicate about the future.
This seminar is allocated 1.15 CPD hours by the IAPF for on-going trustee training requirements. We received confirmation of 1.15 CPD hours from the LIA,(LIA03350_2018) and IOB, (IOB2018-1930) We also received 1.15 CPD hours from the IIPM under category 2. Pensions, Pension Trustee Practitioners (PTP) hours and category 3. Savings and Investments.
