Introduction

Key Function Holders, Friend or Foe?

Please join us on Thursday 9 March to hear from Jim Foley (Managing Director) and Brian Macdonald (Executive Director) of Trustee Decisions as they discuss the changed environment of pension scheme trusteeship in Ireland as a result of the IORP II Directive and the Pensions Authority’s Code of Practice.

Jim and Brian will also be joined by by Roma Burke from LCP Ireland in her role as a Risk Manager Key Function Holder as they look specifically at the role of the Key Function Holders of risk management and internal audit and pose the question, Friend or Foe?

What interactions do trustees expect from their key function holders? What are the trustees expectations of them? How will trustees evaluate the performance of their key function holders? Will the trustees challenge the key function holders? How will the trustees ensure they get value for money for scheme sponsors? These are just some of the questions that will be explored in the webinar.
