Balancing Act: Asset Allocation & Inflation Uncertainty in a Fast Moving Cycle
The inflation outlook is increasingly uncertain, and it is a reality that many market participants have not invested through an environment of high inflation as we have today. Many Irish and European pension schemes are evaluating their current asset allocation to assess how they can better protect portfolios from inflation risk. At this webinar, PIMCO will present our latest views and outlook for inflation and discuss the role real assets can play within a broader asset allocation framework. As part of a strategic asset allocation, real assets can help investors protect their portfolios from inflation surprises and increase diversification. We will also explore how a global approach to inflation hedging can provide optimal protection for investors.
This event will be allocated 1 CPD hours by the IAPF for on-going trustee training requirements. We received 1 CPD hour from the LIA (LIA13604_2022 ), the IOB (2022-0872) and the IIPM, under category 2. Pensions, Category 3. Savings & Investment. If you have a query relating to the CPD hours, please contact the relevant awarding bodies.
