Understanding the Risk in Alternative Risk Premia
With the turmoil seen in recent global markets, many international institutional investors are seeking ways to improve portfolio diversification and control equity beta, without sacrificing return generating potential. Recent developments in the liquid alternative space have seen Alternative Risk Premia (ARP) become a popular choice for asset owner portfolios. We look at the reasons behind this (with investors citing reasons such as a partial replacement for Equities or Diversified Growth Funds) and the impact it can have on portfolios. However do investors really understand the risk it entails?
This seminar is allocated 1 CPD hour by the IAPF for on-going trustee training requirements. We have confirmation of 1 CPD hour from the LIA (LIA04924_2019), the IOB (2019-0650) and the IIPM under category 2. Pensions, Pension Trustee Practitioners (PTP) hours and category 3. Savings and Investments. If you have a query relating to the CPD hours, please contact the relevant awarding bodies.
