IAPF ANNUAL GOVERNANCE CONFERENCE
There is a continuing focus on and increasing expectations of good governance of pension schemes. This conference will consider key issues for trustees. The Regulator will outline the Pensions Authority’s expectations of trustees. We will hear how ESG is becoming a key investment issue. We will outline the issues coming down the line that trustees should be planning for. What can schemes do when there are governance failures in companies they invest in? How do regulators consider pensions from a consumer protection perspective?
This half day morning conference will bring together over 200 trustees, HR and finance managers, policymakers and service providers to consider and discuss issues facing pension schemes today.
This Conference has been allocated 4 hours by the IAPF for on-going trustee training requirements. We have confirmation of 3 hours CPD from the LIA (LIA00780_2017) and the IOB (2017-2386) under Category 2 – Pensions, Pension Trustee Practitioners (PTP) hours and 1 hour of ethics. We have also received 4 CPD hours from the IIPM.
