Impact of QE on Pension Schemes
Lower bond yields have had a severe impact on DC and DB pension schemes in recent years. With the ECB embarking on Quantitative Easing low rates are likely to persist for some time. This conference will look at the impact of this on DC and DB schemes, on both assets and liabilities. It will also look at the regulatory implications and actions trustees can take to mitigate those. We will also hear on the impact QE has had overseas and what the wider economic implications are likely to be in Ireland.
