It's All Change at the IAPF!
A number of changes have been taking place at the IAPF. After seventeen years, Jerry Moriarty departed and, as announced in April, his role of CEO will be taken over by Joyce Brennan in August.
Every two years, we rotate the role of Chairperson to another member of Council. Stepping down at the June AGM, Kevin Cruise O’Shea handed over to Tony Fleming and wished him all the best. Kevin will now hold the title of Vice-Chairperson.
"My Future Fund" campaign launched today
Today, the Minister for Social Protection, Dara Calleary TD, launched the awareness campaign for the new Automatic Enrolment Retirement Savings System, to be known as "My Future Fund". He said:
“Auto Enrolment has been talked about for decades. I am delighted that this is finally happening. My Future Fund will mean that two-out-of-three private sector employees who currently have no supplementary pension will get to enjoy a greater sense of wellbeing and financial freedom in the future."

- eBrief No. 059/25 - Chapter 17 Pensions Manual - Overseas Employers, Overseas Employees and Employees Seconded from Overseas
