How Infrastructure can help mitigate inflation risk
Rising inflation is now high or top of the agenda for most investors given the current economic climate and long-term structural inflationary pressures. Given this uncertainty, clients are now increasingly looking for investment in infrastructure as a protection against inflation whilst trying to meet their ongoing sustainability objectives. Infrastructure assets offer a lower correlation and level of volatility against other traditional asset classes especially over the long-term. As the Infrastructure market continues to evolve amongst investors looking for steady long-term returns, we explore the key characteristics across public / private markets and the ability for investors to think more holistically of bespoke dynamic solutions within the asset class.
